Since it was our last September here in South Carolina and Christian has developed a lot of friendships, we decided to throw him his first birthday party with friends. We had a small turnout, but he enjoyed playing with his friends and loved his airplane themed party! The invitations looked like boarding passes, we put up some signage around the house as well as some hand-cut (fun fun) paper airplanes on the light fixtures and ceiling fan, and Christian's toy airplanes made for easy decor. We had "Pizza Pie in the Sky," "Jet Fuel" beverages, fruit, salad, and "Cumulus Cupcakes" which happened to be
our favorite Oreo cupcakes. (Our camera seems to be headed for the dumpster, so unfortunately the photo quality is horrible, but I think we got a
few "decent" shots.)
