It was so special to be able to be home in Colorado and celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with family this year (it's been 7 years!) We briefly attended my brother and sister-in-law's 3rd Annual Pie Fest on Wednesday night (I've always wanted to go.) There we indulged in a few of the 11 delicious homemade pies. On Thursday we celebrated Thanksgiving with Steve's family. On Black Friday we enjoyed the R. family's annual Cookie Bake day (no shopping for us, instead lots of yummies!) Then on Saturday we celebrated my Mom's birthday, again the first time we have all been together to celebrate her birthday in 7 years (of course, there were no grand kids then either.) Definitely a busy weekend, but a great reminder that we have so much to be thankful for.
