Lucas is 8 Months

Another month has flown by, and our littlest guy is now 8 months old (tomorrow)! Lucas is still our easy going, sweet natured boy, but he is also beginning to become a little opinionated. For example, when he sees food he wants to eat immediately, or one moment he will be squirmy and wants to be on the floor, until of course, I put him on the floor. Like his big brother at this age, Lucas likes to be held...A LOT (this may be Mommy's fault.) We are working on sitting independently, and though he has the strength, L is still a little unbalanced. Almost there though! I think once he can sit on his own he will be much happier to be able to experience his little world other than just in the ExerSaucer, Bumbo, or play mat.

Lucas continues to be such a joy. It has been fun to see him vocalize even more and to hear Lucas and Christian "talking" (yelling) back and forth...I think our household is only going to become louder! Lucas continues to be a great eater, although he does seem to be noticing the difference between the sweet fruits versus the veggies- bet you can't guess which he prefers. He just cut his upper right incisor, making this his 3rd tooth! Lucas is still on the smaller side, two weeks ago he weighed 16 lbs 7 oz and was a little over 27 inches long (I had to bring him in for a random fever.) Can't wait to see what the next month brings! Maybe some sitting or crawling perhaps?
