Lucas is half a year already! This past month has really been fun with Lucas. He is a smiley, charming little guy. Several people have commented on how "easy" and relaxed he seems, and another friend said she would have more children if she knew they would be like Lucas. I would have to agree- he is a pleasant boy. This month LJ has discovered his hands! It's funny how entralled he is with just looking at them. He is also really wanting to reach for and touch/grab everything! This age is also fun as he begins to investigate and play more with his toys. Lucas continues to be a good eater. So far he has had: bananas, rice cereal, oatmeal, pears, applesauce, yellow squash, pumpkin, and peaches. I still think bananas are probably his favorite, but he has taken to everything (let's hope he continues to be a good eater!)
At Lucas' 6 month well-baby checkup, he weighed 15 lbs. 7 ounces, putting him in the 15th percentile (crazy!) and was 26.5 inches long, putting him in the 52nd percentile for children his age. He is now wearing size 3 diapers and is in 6-12 and 9 month clothing.
