Christian's 5th Birthday Party

One of Christians favorite shows is Scooby-Doo. He likes to set traps in the house like Fred to catch monsters. So it only seemed fitting to have a little family gathering and Scooby-Doo party for Christians 5th birthday! We had Scooby snacks, hotdogs, brats, puppy chow, cupcakes, and other munchies. Christian and his cousins enjoyed a mystery hunt to find the missing Scooby-Doo (which was actually their Scooby-Doo party favor bags) with clues outside and throughout the house. The kiddos mostly enjoyed playing, eating, and running about. It was such a fun afternoon celebrating our sweet 5 year old!

Wordless Wednesday *I Love My Boys*

Noah is 11 Months

This crazy boy is 11 months old! He brings so much fun and spunk to our family. Noah is a busy boy, but he likes to go with the flow. This past month he learned how to stand up all on his own (without the help of using any objects for support.) So he will just stand there, flapping his arms, swinging around Christian's wooden sword, until he eventually falls on his bottom. It is pretty cute. No steps yet, but I am certain they will come soon- gotta keep up with big brothers! Noah cut his 7th tooth (bottom right) and is eager to eat everything that Christian and Lucas are eating. I hate to admit it, but he can snarf down hot dogs and chips like no other (they're healthy for 11 month olds right?!) It's amazing the things that you let your third child do that you wouldn't even think of with the first. Of course, he loves black beans, and I am still feeding him pureed foods to make sure that he is filling his belly with something healthy. He is developing some chunky thighs though. ;o) Noah is fitting into 12 month clothes and still wears size 3 diapers. His favorite toys include Nerf gun darts (he loves to put them in his mouth and chew,) tossing around wooden blocks, cuddling with stuffed animals and his swaddle blankets, and basically anything he can get into- plastic bags in the pantry, "helping" unload the dishwasher, unrolling toilet paper, getting into trashcans, etc. It is hard to believe that he will be a ONE year old in only three short weeks. *Tear*
